I’m Tom, the walk leader for Men Walking and Talking in Penarth.

Since December 2023, we’ve been meeting every week for a relaxed, one hour walk at a steady pace – perfect for conversation. There’s no agenda, no pressure – just a group of blokes getting together for a stroll and a chat. Sometimes the conversation is light and cheery, other times we talk about the ups and downs of life. Either way, it’s a supportive space where all men are welcome, whether you want to open up or just enjoy a bit of company.

We’re lucky to have some great walking routes on our doorstep, often we walk along Penarth Marina or the seafront – great spots to clear the head and get some fresh air.

It’s a safe, supportive space for men to connect, share, or simply enjoy good company. Whether you want to talk or just take a break from the day, you’re always welcome.

We set off every Tuesday at 7PM from Plymouth Park Free Car Park (41 Anchor Rd, Penarth CF64 1SN). If you fancy joining us, just turn up – no need to book, no expectations, just a friendly group and a good walk.
